In Vegas the center lane is for cruising, the left lane is for going fast, and the right lane is for passing everyone by speeding up to 20+PSL and then violently going back to the center or right lane when the traffic backs up for a line of people turning right. People don't take kindly to slower traffic using the right lane.

I'm loving the highways around Rochester/Henrietta. I'm used to CT, where a 55 PSL on a highway means 60 - 70 in the right lane, and 70+ (typically 80+) in the left. On highways with 3 lanes, the center varies. However, up here, people will do 70 in the left lane in a 65 (65 in a 55), middle lane still varies, and they'll do 55 - 60 in the right in either a 55 or 65 zone. Makes it much easier to do 55 - 60 in the beast without annoying people.
