Reintroduction

Hey all, I've been a member here since '09 but I recently sold my car and bought a new vehicle. A 2003 Ford Ranger, unfortunately I did take a hit in fuel economy because of this, which has brought me back to ecomodder. I'm excited to hear from some new people and listen to the wisdom of those who have been around the block.

Welcome back ferr3t. I had a 2002 ranger that I sold a couple of years ago. I wish I had it now with what the price of gas is. Is your FX4 a V6 auto?

Unfortunately yes, I have the FX4 Level II off-road edition, with the 4.0 V6. It IS a 5-speed though, which helps a bit. I enjoy hunting, camping, fishing etc. and do a bit of painting and landscaping alongside college so I really wanted a truck with 4 wheel drive. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to save some fuel, I'd forgotten all of my hypermiling techniques that I used on my honda!
