Removing the back seat on a Corsa C?

I've got a 5 seater Corsa C but as I rarely even have one passenger I'm thinking of removing the back seats and tinting the back side windows so it's not too obvious if you're a passer by. My questions are:

Will doing so affect the MOT (I'm in the UK)?
Is it likely to save enough weight to be worth doing?
What's the best way of tinting the windows?

yep its legal! saves a goo few kgs but it will make it a little louder, as for tinting.....dunno

Interesting, I didn't think it'd make it louder, would the sound be from the tyres moving over the road surface?

the seat base acts as a kind of unofficial sound deadening from exhaust + road noise from the echo chamber that is the boot (trunk), especially if you remove you spare tyre + tools at the same time
