Rimac C_Two street drag

33 yr old Croatian Mate Rimac, the CEO of Rimac Automobili does his own benchmark testing with a Porsche Taycan Turbo S, one of the fastest accelerating production cars that is available to buy. It could go 0-60mph under three seconds. The Rimac C_Two (unveiled 2018) drag raced head-to-head against the Taycan, without launch control. The Rimac C_Two did not have good start but managed to quickly reel in the Porsche and leaves it in a trail of dust! With Mate Rimac driving, he was able to get 2.3-second 0-60mph and an 8.94-second quarter mile at 155 mph on a the poor surface strip. For comparison that is faster than the Bugatti Chiron! The dusty airfield served as his testing ground for his still unfinished hypercar, and he said that the car was only at "85-90% performance." The quad-motor Rimac C_Two engineering targets; launch controlled 1.85-sec 0-60mph, 1,914hp, 1,696 lb-ft of torque, 250mph top speed EV hypercar. Rimac acknowledges his target EV competition is Elon Musk's highly anticipated new Tesla Roadster. The Rimac has a limited production run, each for $2 million dollars...and all of them have already been sold.

John Metric from Texas has the exact same issue, getting things to stick and not break when he applies 2000 hp in his electric dragster.

That's anything drag racing that can run in the 8s or better.

Things like AWD don't help much at these kind of times either as the front tires aren't even on the ground for the worst of it
