16.8?? A 5 cell LiFePO3 is that? Why not use a 4 cell that's nominal 13.2, max 14.4 like all the usual lithium drop in replacements?

Well, cell specs say 4.2V is fully charged (max 4.32V), hence 16.8V nominal. 14.4V/ 4 cells would only be 3.6V, or less than 70% SOC according to the Thunder-Sky manual.

My i-MiEV never goes below 3.6Vpc, even at 0% SOC.

What are some of the usual lithium drop in replacements? I haven't seen anything other than overpriced and low capacity plastic boxes aimed at the ricer crowd, such as
