For Sale, an ecomodder's museum/daily driver.

...just saw this from an auto site. An honest-to-goodness Honda's first microcar/keicar sold in the US! Honda clubs estimates that there are fewer than 300 operating survivors! 10 feet long and 1300 lbs, it is not too underpowered and sophisticated for its class. The 2 cylinder/36 horsepower motorcycle engined AZ was sold right alongside to motorcycles in Honda motorcycle dealerships. The AZ600 preceded the Honda's first car dealers first offering, the Civic.

Thanks for posting! I used to see one of these while waiting for the school bus in the morning (in the '80s). I had assumed that it was an early Civic. Now I know what it is! Thank you

There's a place not far from my house that has three Z600s in the driveway. I think one of them runs, but I haven't seen it out and about.

Is that one of Honda's chain drive cars?

Love the olive/pea green color.

That thing is so cool! It's at just over $10k now, and with the amount of work that has gone into it, I think it's a steal.

See the loving care, by 'Z' enthusiasts.

A post-purchase inspection video. Maybe the one for auction?

Hear the motorcycle engine and the fun tossability factor.

Re: the 3rd clip about 'Hear the motorcycle engine and the fun tossability factor...'

That's been done before, back in the day, courtesy of Marshall Dodge and
Bob Bryan in the Maine/Down East humor classic, Bert and I:

Way off topic: Of course, now I have to ask...
What is your favorite Bert and I piece?

OK, OK, my little challenge has the potential of hijacking this thread,
which I don't want to do. So, I'll start a new wicked cool thread.

Maine-iacs, here's your chance to shine.
