To play nice there is another way to get a scan gauge for even cheaper!

If you credit card rewards points....redeem an amazon.com gift card. Depending on your card usage, points you have, sometimes the cards yield more $$$ for less points. I can get $25 for 3500 points. So through regular use (not encouraging debt) for bills, and daily expenses you could get a $25 or $50 dollar gift card. :-)
