Wow! this is an old thread.
Her Jetta has steel rims with caps.
Unfortunately the moon discs did not last long. She tends to 'Curb' the tires a lot.
We looked into the screw on style and decided that would not be in her best interest. So back to the OEM VW wheel covers we went.
As of right now she has lost the inserts for the front bumper. and we removed the grill block due to overheating issues. I purchased the OEM grill block designed for the diesels and it looks good while working well also.
The car has been abused unmercifully since we got it and I have told her I am not putting any more time or money into it.

I hope you have better luck.
If I can find the grill block I will PM you if you want it.

Hi,

Did you block the upper grill with the OEM block, do you have pics of it ?

very cool, I'd like that.

sorry to hear about your jetta. I know all about "curbing". women seem bad about this. my wife's jetta takes a lot of curb abuse as well.

Yes, I used the OEM grill block designed for the diesel Jetta.
No, I don't believe we have any pics, but I will look tomorrow when I am more awake.

It's not 'MY' Jetta any more. I signed it over to my daughter a year ago so she could be a more responsible adult. I quit paying for the maintenance etc. Now the car is turning into a POS. One good outcome, I don't get the reminders for the parking tickets and taxes, etc.
