ScopeOut safety mirror

Ran across this when searching for various mirror solutions

ScopeOut Safety Mirror for Cars - Expand Your Rear Visibility and Enhance Your Safety

Anyone ever tried this? How does it work exactly? Bit pricey...

It looks interesting, but I prefer the traditional Wink 4-5 panel mirrors.

I can't imagine trying to get used to that. In all honesty, this could be a decent solution for some people, but I personally wouldn't pay that much. I would get a couple cheap blind spot mirrors from Wally World and arrange them as needed. Also, this won't work for hatchbacks and SUV's (such as my Jeep)

I've been wanting one of those for YEARS, but $60 is too much. Time to make my own. Thanks!

It's not a rear view mirror. You look at it when your head is turned around and are backing up.

I suspect the image size in the mirror would be too small to be of any real use.

There appears to be two versions and the $50 seems to have been some list price, I found a few places that sold some for almost half on Amazon and eBay here's a pic of the two versions, I too would be tempted to try the "SUV" version on my hatchback but without the bulkiness these bring!

How much demand are there for these types of mirrors (of a large variety of versions size etc!) turns out an old contact of mine in Germany is the manufacturer of them!
