Side view mirrors and their proximity to body.

Did you know that even if you have a very well designed side view mirror its aerodynamics as well as that of the overall side of you vehicle can be ruined by it being located too close to the body work...its true. Something to think about.

Yeah, I need to get the hybrid rear view mirrors for my 04 Civic, they're mounted on stalks whereby my EX mirrors are "fat to the door". The $50 is tough to justify though, the breakeven is like 35,000 miles if I gain 1/2 mpg which is all I really have a hunch I'd get.

Put an ad on craigslist to swap. Maybe someone likes your mirror style better than the stalks?
