I should get some dollar store yarn to replace my crinkly strings.

I bought some four-ply yarn, but I think it would be better to cut it to length, then tease it apart into 1-ply.

this post got me thinking, so today i was in a parking lot and i looked at all the designs " on display" it seems that newer cars (should be the most aero one's) have a bigger radiused transition from the roof to the side, aft of the front door. combining this with the csd image, this would aid the transition of the airflow back to the roof.

another small difference that would not stand out in a profile view comparison with older boxy designs.

The only car I can think of that would even have a chance of avoiding the vortex there would be the old Saab 900, they had quite a bit of curvature in the windshield, more like an airplane...for obvious reasons.

i totally love the saab 900 (thinking about using one for a wedding car!) but ironicly it's a bit of an aero desaster...
the sadan is supposed to have a 0.34 Cd... that's ok for a car of that age, but not great, while the pretty GLI has a horrible 0.40 – 0.42... the low tail quite possibly ruines everything for this car, and a lot of these cars recieved spoilers to cure this problem. a bit like the proche 911

i totally love the styling, but most saabs before and since this model have had much better Cd's. i suppose aero wasn't much of a priority on the original 900
