Minor complaint; IMHO, the car needs more side-facing glass in doors and rear quarter.

All kinds of aero related stuff at the rear:

Half skirts. Interesting scalloped "spoiler." If just styling, wouldn't paint do?"

Could it be an implementation of the whale fin/tail tubercle idea?

Wave of future? DIY friendly?

Nice looking front end.

Gen 1 Honda Insight treatment of wheel wells might further reduce Cd??

I'm trying to find a link where they discuss that aspect.

Please link and quote it if you find it before me.

On jet aircraft and on my hovercraft splitter experiments, wavy edges break up the sound nodes for a quieter top frequency level.

I have no idea what they are doing on this car.

No. 3 prototype SIM-CEL of SIM-Drive is a very bold design of course. Especially the back figure. Spoiler of wave type named Chevron spoiler is it. Result of (fluid analysis by computer) CFD, the effect of a small vortex is generated in the body near the surface, has a rectification effect that the small vortex attract the wake of the fluid in the outer, to generate a control rear portion of the vehicle body further that, some thing.
Something is being lost in the translation.

I'm not sure what the scallops will do on the car,but most noise nowadays is from the tires.
