#1 reminds me a LOT of something I saw in Car and Driver back when I was in high school or so.

Whenever radiators, cooling, and airflow are discussed here on ecomodder, it seems someone always brings up the merideth effect 'like they did with the P-51 Mustang.'
Here's an idea I had. Dunno if it would work.

Create a 'combustion' or expansion chamber under the car and duct all exhaust and radiator heat into it. The venturi between the rear wheels accelerates the air and you get thrust off the bottom of the rear bumper. Yeah, right.

'Nuther tadpole. This one would be propelled by a small motorcycle engine via the rear wheel. I just liked how the shape came out on this one. Just enough vehicle to get my butt back and forth to work through rain and snow. I wish I had a workshop... sigh.

It's just like any thing else, order99; practice long enough and you'll get better at it. My gradeschool teachers are bald from pulling their hair out, trying to get me to stop turning in homework covered in doodles. One teacher even suggested to my mother that I may need counseling because of all the WWI dogfights I depicted in the margins of my papers. Twenty seven years later and I'm still at it! Bwah ha ha!

Anyway, here's a four-wheeled vehicle.

The time for a family vacation over Christmas break is rapidly approaching. Wish I had thought of building an aerodynamic baggage carrier earlier...

Should be pretty easy. A couple sheets of luan ply and some 1x lumber. Held together at the seams with some strips of fiberglass, like a 'stitch and glue' boat.

A day late and a dollar short. Story of my life...

Roof racks are so not aero considered.

Surfboard, snowboard, suitcase, tradesman ladder and many applications would benefit from a leading edge aero nose and lowered and back mounted load fixing on roof.

I dont draw let alone know how to load those drawings in a forum.

L. D. Vinci must have sat a on the john with pen and paper.

Very nice sketches Tango

Have you considered inking them? Use a black and dark gray pen for depth... It really makes things pop out

Out of curiosity, are you using a french curve?

Thanks, treb.

I haven't thought of inking them. They're really just little flashes of inspiration that I record. As soon as I get them down on paper I usually feel satisfied. Except for the trikes. One day I WILL build one!

French curve? Well, that is my favorite kind of curve...
But no, I draw freehand. I love graph paper!
