Your suggestion to tell the transportation authority what to do is exactly what has me so upset. I shouldn't be able to easily come up with efficiency ideas and suggest them to the authority since THEY are the authority and should have experts working on this. Their only purpose in this world is to make traffic safe and efficient, and I don't feel like they are living up to their purpose very well.

That said, my purpose right now is to facilitate silicon wafer manufacturing, so I better get back to work...

I can't count the number of times I have seen one car stop 50 at a light. There is no need for coordination in anything but the east-west main artery. In fact they could just get rid of the lights and make people turn right then make a u turn if they wanted to go left.

The few times the idiots add a new light, it takes them years to finally get it timed with the others, and when they are timed you have to go at least 3 MPH over the limit to stay in the cycle. Go the speed limit and you will cathc almost every one yellow going to red for a ticket.

I think the trash collectors could time lights better.
