Smooth Wheel Cover Attachment?

I know it's been discussed time after time on here but I was looking for advice specific to my wheels. Any ideas to keep them from flying off. I'm thinking zip ties would be best, but if anyone has experience with this, please share your knowledge.

By the way, this isn't my car so thats not my under inflated tire. I have Bridgestone Ecopias set to 38 PSI

Forummember Vekke sells clear wheel covers and zip tie plugs to keep them on the wheels.

If it's good enough for a world record EV, it's probably good enough for the rest of us

drill and tap 6mm x 1.o or 1/4 x 20

drill and tap
use a something / anything
(you can use a simple compass)
to measure from the hub and strike a mark on each of the five spokes , such that the marks are all equidistant from the hub
drill and tap either a 1/4 x 20 or 6mm x 1.o hole there

if the holes go all the way through , position the wheel cover on the wheel and mark the wheel cover through the holes in the wheel
or
make a template with some paper
drill corresponding holes in the wheel cover , install bolts and

the plastic does not cut into the tires on my application , others have said that it may

You could always test run for a few weeks with some duct tape, see if its going to give you the results you hope for.
