I read the manual cover to cover, there is no official way to disable temperature compensation.
Best way I can figure to do it is install a fake remote temperature sensor that way it always reads a constant temperature.
It was partly cloudy and the battery was charged by noon. Just replenishing the morning drive to work. Tomorrow it will have to replenish tonight and tomorrows drive.

20 watt fiberglass backed epoxy panels came in today so I got to size them up.
Those should fit nicely over the driver and front passenger seat.
I can take the 90 watts I have now, double it then stick 2 additional 20 watt panels over the front seats for a grand total of 220 watts.
Then stick 2 more 20 or 30 watt panels on the hood, if I really want to.

With over cast skies and almost 1/4 inch of ice over the panels some how the panels and charge controller were still able to put some charge on the battery.
I figured there was no way it would be charging.
Every time I checked on it there was a rapid green flashing LED indicating there was at least some charging taking place.

I got my remote temperature sensor for the Morningstar.
It reads 10.1k ohms at 75'F to 76'F.
All one would need to do to deactivate temperature compensation on a Morningstar for use with LiFePO4 is stick a 10k ohm resistor in the RTS terminal board.

Forget the 10k ohm resistor.
I am picking up a 15k Potentiometer.
That way I can fine tune it. They are practically giving away NOS electronics like that on ebay.
A 15k ohm pot should have a resistance value starting at 50 to 500 ohms and go up to 15k ohms +/- 10%.
I should be able to dial into 10,100 ohms pretty easy.
It looks like the 10 amp genasun may not be enough. The 140 watts of panels are all on and I still have a lot of room.
A few months ago I was thinking about getting the 5 amp genasun charge controller.
I usually try to get one size bigger then what I think I will actually need, so I got the 10 amp. At the time 10 amps seemed like an impossible amount of current to achieve.

Now the Home made solar inverter generator hybrid - EcoRenovator and the vehicle roof top solar panels can work together.
Take the raw solar power plug, the white plug with blue and white wires shown here:
And use my solar suicide cord to compile all the roof top solar panels into one panel side set of MC4 connectors.
I know the cord looks short but I have a 10 foot MC4 extension cord made with 12 gauge wire or if 10 feet isn't long enough I have a bag of MC4 connectors and several 500 foot spools of 10 gauge wire.
