More info on the solar fires:
Amazon has joined in, blame is being placed on an Amphenol connector:
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...ls-caught-fire
Apparently microscopic cracks formed in the plastic housing of the weatherproof connector, allowing water inside and causing a corroded/high voltage drop connection.
https://www.ecmweb.com/fire-security...ctors-recalled
Weird, as Amphenol is a pretty well respected company. I use their stuff in all my hobby projects over the no-name Chinese stuff.

You know the difference between California and the Titanic?
.....
When the Titanic went down the lights were still on.
Ba-dump-bump. Tish!

Tesla solar is circling the drain.
https://electrek.co/2022/11/10/tesla...back-division/
Glad I didn't go with them. They had the lowest offer price, but couldn't guarantee a local subsidy and required a non-refundable deposit to deliver a final quote. Online reviews are all horrendous.

Organic is an abused word. It can mean "of the earth", or hydrocarbon chemistry, or a form of inefficient farming.
I mean, practically everything is of the earth, most useful things are derived of hydrocarbons, and inefficient farming is both a hoax, and unregulated.

The solar forum I visit was indicating that Solar city was folding their tents and going away at some locations.
