Beating the EPA: 19 owners averaging 42 MPG US (5.6 L/100 km) over 46,000 miles (74k km) in daily driving.
Our Fuel Log numbers show that owners are beating the combined EPA rating of 40 MPG for the CVT and 37 for the manual. This seems to confirm what a number of people (including media reviewers) have been saying: the EPA ratings for the Mirage are probably conservative.

Poll: 1.0L M irage engine = 7.5% better fuel economy. Would you choose it over the 1.2L?
In North America (and most countries where the car is sold), the only available engine is the 74 HP 1.2L 3-cylinder. But the car has an optional smaller, 1.0L 3-pot in Japan & Europe -- with ~9% less power and ~7.5% better fuel economy. Would 1.2L owners go for this engine if it were available here?
