Ah OK, I may have mistaken it for some other similar sites that are full of bootleg material.

I am a bit in the middle - where the author makes nothing from the publication (eg technical papers) I think it is heinous that we're charged high amounts eg US$50 for a paper.

On the other hand, where the author is paid for their work, bootlegging it will simply, over time, prevent similar works being published.

And then sometimes, when the publication is long out of print and impossible to find, a free copy on the web is a godsend.
