Something to consider when buying ANY tire

Hey guy's, just two tips when buying tires...
Make sure to ask for Fresh & Date code matched tires when buying your choice of tire.
By this I mean, Fresh, being within 2 months or so of manufacture and date code matched, that the date code on ALL four tires is the same. i.e 1712 ( typically in an "oval" embossed area on the tires side wall ) 17 being the week & 12 being the yr. You're paying for them, so insist on it !

Just thought I'd share to assure you get what you pay for !
I have seen dealers sell tires that 3 of the tires were date code matched and one tire was 2 yrs old !!!!

I always buy my sets 5 tires at a time from tirerack, out of 20 tires, all yokohamas they are usually made the same day.
They are never more than a few months old.
