Tired of fouling plugs?
Me too.
Most places seem to sell medium heat range or cooler plugs. Running those medium heat plugs on my pressure washer which I fill up with gas and run wide open until it runs out of gas, still fouls plugs.
Little 208, 390 and 459cc engines all run about a half horse power per cubic inch.
No hardware stores, no auto parts stores have the hotter plugs. Only one I found that is a bit hotter than a ngk "6" is a campion "12" and that should be one step hotter on the scale. I know I have fouled plenty of those champion #12 plugs too. The champions #12 which is supposed to be like an ngk #5 almost runs hot enough in the pressure washer.
I ordered some of those NGK #4 plugs for the pressure washer and some #2 the hottest running ones, for the wood chipper and snow blower, generator, ect.
The generator, air compressor, wood chipper, stump grinder, welder, get ran wide open or a bit then no load at full speed for a bit or at a steady partial load.
The snow blower is just going to be cold if it gets used.
The pressure washer and lawn mower get ran wide open for extended time.
The pressure washer is the only thing that runs wide-open for a whole tank of gas, washing solar panels.....
