Spark plugs E3 Pulstar?

Hi I have a 92 caprice that I am tryin to get 25mpgs while I still have a gas engine. I took a spark plug out today and it looks pretty fouled so I was thinking about getting E3s or pulstar plugs. Would they work or should I just get Ngks?

I asked the same thing about a year ago and they told me they don't work but you could always test them out and let us know, I don't think it could get you WORSE mpg but who knows...

At $25 a plug plus tax thats $214 for my car so I think I will wait till I see proof that they work. I'm not sure what the E3s cost but if its not too high I might get a set.

I wouldn't waste your time, just got with whatever the stock recommendation is, though you might consider indexing them

Useless. They might show gains on a dyno, but it'll be small at that. One of my Pulstars also failed after about a year.

I had Halo and they gave me ~1.5mpg more consistently.
But I burned my coils (after a couple of years). Don't know if it was the sparks of just my car (it is 10 years old).

I just bought the E3 and I'll try them soon (pain in the @$$ to change plugs in my car).

Be careful in regards of the resistance. You should always put a plug that matches the coil inductance (I mean what the OEM specifies). If you change it too much you get extra current reflections at the spark and that pulse goes back to the coil.

Best thing to do is to mod your recommended spark plugs drilling a hole.
