Speeding Video...

It's one where the guy says (or it's in words on the screen) that 5km/h faster it takes X feet more to stop. And because he was goign the limit he doesn't ram into an 18 wheeler. It's not an American video, obviously, but it is really good and I need some help finding it.

I wouldn't have posted if I could have googled. I can't find it on google.

Friend of mine found it for me.

coincidental to the braking, I have old school metering valves, master cylinder (basically a long throw manual brake cylinder with a vacuum boost) it came with cars right into the mid 1980s.
to this day, I have stumped more than one person on why my brake peddle is halfway, not up top to press. they start to fumnction up top, then the rally monster braking emerges not long afterwards...
there is no back brakes effectively if leaving the system oem. They did not want the back nrakes doing much of anything by oem, on non abs systems back then...
something to ponder for older cars, they will have a carburator by oem if to have this type of system, of course no abs.

I sealed this find with some rally videos. The reason for halfway for maximum? it is even with the gas peddle when in "racing modes". (makes it easy to slide one foot around between two peddles)
Some call it 50/50. It eats back brakes, and they make noise, but oh the pleasure of them working for skilled drivers. My first car I did this to, was a 79 delta 88. the drums were huge. no regrets, after popping all cylinders and both brake lines, my old sube got the same repair and exact bleed. They had the back brakes so light in function, I just swapped out original pads after its 21st year.
OEM everyday cars had it set for all people, hence the very light press to feel like there is decent brakes at the top of the pedal..and it is a hoax.

as there is alot of DIY here, I give this old tip.
