Yes,I incorporated a form of into the flying C-pillar buttresses of my CRX kit,with top 'wing' and mid-wing captured within the buttresses.I never tested it independently but it helped the car to get to Cd 0.235 and 60+ mpg.
I've recommended them since 2007 on the web.
