stolen 99 civic ~ completely totaled

My 99 civic was stolen early the morning of April 9th, and involved in a high speed chase at 2am the next morning. The 16 year old driver had flipped and rolled the car several times attempting to make a left turn up a freeway ramp at 110 mph, which completely totalled the civic. However, none of the 4 occupants were badly injured.

I'm okay with the loss, but slightly annoyed that I didn't routinely unplug the PCM and fuel injector wires, which might have prevented the theft. Although aware theft was possible, that I've never had a car stolen probably made me complacent and careless. Apparently the thieves used a bump or pass key to get in and start up the car.

Sorry about that, that sucks On mine I redirected the clutch switch to a hidden push button by the driver. Not that it does much since a thief could just push start it ... but mine's old and crappy enough that I just hope they would realize something's wrong and get to the next easily-stolen model.
