I would just report them individually in your log here. Combine them for your average for the trip itself.
I was buying extra fuel in 5 gallon containers and then filling the car with them. To make it sensible in my log, I would refill with 10 gallons, then top off the tank and break it down into separate entries so it would make some sense. I was careful to keep each fill in my extra tanks within .01 gallon for accuracy.
In the bike I would keep it filled by topping off when I got home, so every day I rode the bike I had maximum range. I recorded each distance between fills and after all 5 gallons were used I topped off the tank and made two entries to cover the 5+ gallons used, since the tank capacity was only 60% of that amount.
My biggest rpoblem was when I used the same fuel in the lawn mower as the bike, which messed up my calculations. After that realization I just drained fuel out of the 1971 CB350 and used it for the mower, since I don't record mileage on the antique bike or ride it that many miles, 800 over a year. This keeps the fuel fresh in the bike which is more of a concern for me.
