Got on the news for a minute...lol

Had a guy from a local news station contact me on here and did an interview with him on saving gas. Ended up being on the news for a minute or two. Got it on my DVR but have no way to transfer to PC. Maybe I'll figure out a way at some point after the initial "omg I look like a stooge!" wears off, hahahaha.

Basically I tried to explain the most simple ways to increase mpg. Things like being easy on the go pedal, avoiding using the brakes, and maintenance.

Look on the back of your DVR. Many of them have a USB connection. Try it out and see if your computer "sees" it as an external drive.

Congrats. Nice to hear about this kind of publicity. Did you think the short segment was good?

Time warner pretty much casterates their DVR boxes. It has like three USB's, a firewire, E-sata and ethernet and I dont think any of them are actually functional. Only way I can think of is to have a TV tuner or VIVO in my PC and record through A/V.

Coulda been a bit more thorough and I could have had a bit more.... practice? haha but I think it covered those basic things okay.

The other option is to ask the station to provide you with a copy of the segment. Most don't have a problem with that.

If you can copy it to an old-school VCR tape, I can copy it to DVD.
