I'm glad he's doing this in a Baja, cause when I tell people what mine is capable of mileage wise at the Outback forum they generally don't believe me. The two are basically identical from the passenger seat forward.

what does your outback get?

The highest confirmed tank average I've gotten is 36 or 37. I have gotten better on trips, but not for an entire tank. The fuel log is in linked in my signature. It's been a lot lower than those numbers lately due to a shorter/colder commute that has to take me directly through downtown. (Stop Lights kill the mileage in these things.)

As for a page with mods. Muh. I don't know, I've tracked 95% of my fuel usage for the past 5 years here. The big thing is the grill block and wheel covers. The hybrid charger was a fun project and worked as intended but simply too complicated to drive in every day conditions.
