No one argued about Michelin Defenders except that the tread might outlast the rubber.
I will buy Defenders when I replace my inexpensive Falken Sinceras. Going to pump them up and get what I can out of them. Raising PSI was the main feedback. One respected guy also said he liked Bridgestone.

I found a testsheat from the dutch car holders club. Each year they test summer and wintertires. And the tables als from left to right: price, dry, wet, sound, FE and wear. For the conti and e3b are the best. With even dry and wet as the best in test. So i don't know why not to take them...

I got 4 Douglas tires from Wally World for $37.50 each. 155X80X13s work good on my 92 sentra. Can't beat cheap, maybe a 40k tire. If mine last that long and they are still that cheap I'd go for them again.

Just my opinion.

I.m thinking of going for the michelin e3b tires. They have a slightly bigger wallheight as those i have on now. But i want lower rpms so no problem. I'd go for 155/80/13. And i have now 165/65/13. And those have lasted more als 80.000 kilometers in 2 years. And stil more als 4mm.
