SunRay Kelly RV design
I've been searching the internet for aerodynamic motorhome designs and ran across a cool design by a guy named SunRay Kelley. I'm not allowed to post links or photos, but if you google his name, you can see a video of an RC model of his design on his website.
If anyone has a chance to take a look at it, I'm curious what people think of the aerodynamics of the design. It has a tail in the back, but the tail is at the top of the vehicle rather than in the center like most modders make. I'm wondering if people think that would be as effective in reducing cD as a standard tail.
Sorry for not being able to post photos. But its easy to google. By the way, the new design is the purple one, NOT the Toyota motorhome with the sunroom - that one clearly doesn't have very good aerodynamics. ;-) But it is funky.

The model is funky too. It would have some nice transition from front to sides and roof with that nice rounding, but the wheel flares and back end are aero junk. Probably little to no more aero than conventional.

That's a shame. As far as interior layout is concerned, you could do a lot more with that design than one with the tail in the center. (At least with the designs in my head).
I also ran across an old post here where someone modded a VW Bus with a tail and made some dramatic improvements. I'd like to use the VW bus as a platform, but with a higher tail like this.

Some video of the aero scale model in this link:
Gypsy Wagon
Nice start, but the roof should slope back at a 10 degree angle downward or try to match the frosty green template.

If anyone wants to see this model now without going to the video, here are some screenshots I can now post.

Like Frank said, the front looks good but the high tail and rounding of the rear sides is aero trash.
Cute RC car though.
