Here are some of the World Human Powered Speed Trials competitors from the IHPVA's annual event at Battle Mountain,Nevada.













The Delft University team had had the fastest time at the time I had to leave.They went a bit over 80-mph (131 km/h ).

I imagine it must leave a deep impression to see a human bicycling that fast. I don't drive faster than 65mph, seeing someone bike past me at 80+mph would be something.

It's surreal.Part of your brain is saying " okay,I'm seeing that",while the other lobe is saying "I'm not sure."
