I shutter-bugged these at the USFRA's World of Speed
Some of the cars were covering the parachute tubes, ala 'Goldenrod' of 1965,Walter Korff's 555-mph LSR design. It was refreshing to finally see it.
678 and 785 are on trailers with trolley winches? I thought those were interesting; I've seen a similar farm implement trailer since (for irrigation pipes or something).

I was in Bonneville in August for the motorcycle speed week. The salt was quite wet so we only had 7 miles of track. I was at mile seven which is only half a mile from the edge of the earth... I got to see the real fast bikes do there return runs. The most interesting was the electric streamlined "side car" motorcycle. It made no real noise and seemed quit slow until it got to mile six at which point it seemed to vanish into the distance in no time at all. to a world record speed around 240 mph.

I might have thought to capture the entire image. There seems to be no shortage of imagination out there.Quite a number of these overhead suspension-type rigs.
