Tesla to build a single seater mini car?
Elon Musk tweeted the following:

So what would that be?
Not like this:
Of course, it has been done before:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinclair_C5
... but it may be something all-enclosed and highway worthy, in the line of Arcimoto or Corbin.
Tesla could pull that off and get it on the road in numbers.
Please Tesla, let it be fast AND cheap AND cool AND practical... and most of all, true!

Like this, but electric...
Fits the definition of "squeezing in" an adult.

With Jeremy Clarkson for a yardstick, 'squeezing in' gets a new dimension.
Then the Peel P50 is iconic. And utterly rubbish. An electric Peel P5 would be nothing more than a crippled golf cart.
Surely Tesla will come up with something better than even a very good golf cart?
And better than this at least:

Still waiting for a production version of Gordon Murray's T27.
Of course, since Shell bought it, it's likely it will be kept as a science lab experiment occassionally trotted out for PR rather than a full-blown production vehicle.
Oh well.

He's going to put wheels on the mini-sub and call it the Pedo-mobile.

I fixed your price estimate... I don’t think we’ll ever be able to buy a Tesla anything for under $25k, even their Model 3 which was meant to cost $35k, is selling for upwards of $50k because they aren’t making the base ones yet...

Not sure what might be Elon's definition of a "mini-car", or if that would be a single-seater or something else.

That's what I made of the squeezing in.
If that's needed to get one adult in, there won't be much room for the extended family.
Or maybe they'll join the Formula E championship. Tesla can be a game changer.

Some 20 years ago I saw a picture of a scaled-down but quite disproportionate, yet fully-functional, single-seater reproduction of an original Mini. Its owner was nearly 2-metre tall but claimed to fit there comfortably.

I don't know why they didn't join yet.
