We should see the actual Tesla pickup (Model B ?) next month, I think.

The rendering at the top looks much more plausible, than anything else I've seen.

Nein!Nein!
The poly count is low, and the chrome has no fresnel. Everything has fresnel.
And who 'icked'[stet] out that color?

aside from introducing the term "Cybertruck," there is no more information. Electrek: Elon Musk: Tesla electric ‘Cybertruck’ pickup is our best product ever.

I was sad to see the Bollinger will be priced over $100k. I love the look of that truck. Hopefully Tesla can beat that price by half.

I think the $125k is about right. First the closest competitor off road and power wise would be the conversion AEV does to the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon called the Brute. They stretch it, put a pickup bed on it, add bigger axles and better suspension and oh yeah, drop a 6.4 Hemi in it. It will set you back $125k as well. Super powerful, high end, custom built off road machine. I'd love to see a head to head test of those two both off and on road.
Even if you reduced the Bollinger to just an electric version of a Gladiator Rubicon which starts at $50k msrp, costing 2 and 1/2 times more for more than 2 times the power, an adjustable ride height suspension, bigger tires, and a battery that I bet costs $40k all by itself.

It's not a hemi, just a trademarked name.

Which does make it a Hemi with a capital H. It's just a name like you said, like Powerstroke or Vtech. No engine actually uses a hemispherical combustion chamber, it would be terrible as a hemisphere is exactly 1/2 of a sphere and you would have about a 4 to 1 compression ratio. The old Hemis weren't hemispherical and neither are the new. What they do have is opposed valves which is really the secret. That is what Nascar handicapped, that is what improves flow. The latest Hemi combustion
chamber design is an improvement over the older ones. It's not like they made the changes because they didn't want a nice pretty dome. But agreed, it's just a trademark they can put on anything they want.
