Tesla Semi

I think Tesla cars are beautiful. I can't wait to park my new truck next to the Tesla semi in Atlanta in September. I think we will both be at that same venue.

Mr. Musk just released a teaser image of the front end.

That will be awesome. What is the event? And I wonder if there will there be any others introducing new models.

There is also the Boring Company:

I had thought his Hyperloop should carry pods with a standard shipping container. Now I see there is CargoCap:

What is CargoCap? | CargoCap GmbH

It would put 2 standard pallets in a drone van and squirt them through a 2-meter diameter tunnel.

I still want to see your truck, though.

Thanks. I don't want to sound too cloak-and-dagger, but I cannot elaborate on that event due to confidentiality agreements and NDAs.

There may indeed be other models being introduced there. This is truly an exciting time in the automotive industry.

I just did an image search for "Tesla semi truck" and the Walmart truck along with something from Toyota popped up.

Looks like lots of activity in this segment.

The study someone badged as an Audi did not look very serious, but it had a cool factor.

In case anyone searches for other images of the Tesla semi, please disregard this one below.

It's some idiots idea when he morphed a Tesla car into a truck. It is not based on reality.

Dag-nab it! I was hoping to find out more about that external duct under the back of the van.

No problem, here you go. Daimler in Stuttgart is at my site occasionally.

Here's the image that the morphing idiot used:

We designed a similar vented trailer concept in 2010.

Thanks. What I was looking at was that instead of relying on the air wrapping around an inverted boat tail, it pulls the relatively clean airflow down the side and injects it into the undercarriage.
