Wrong sub-forum?

RLochard 12-10-2017 05:29 PM

Admin asked me to post a test thread because I’ve tried posting 2 other threads that just disappear.

The situation I'm having is a post that goes to a new page and then when I click next it loads the same page. Check to see if there is a subsequent page that doesn't load.

The fix that was suggested is to change the number of posts per page.

Same issue, but only happens when a post in that thread has been deleted (usu. because it was SPAM). Somehow the page index got cached and still shows a wrong post count. A full cache reset clears the issue.

RLochard -

Try posting your build thread again. I can't explain why the thread title remained in the subforum index, but the thread itself was missing.

To simplify, I'd omit adding tags in the first post.

I’ll try it right now. Hopefully it works!

way to go, newbie! :p

It's not you, it's me...no, wait...it's you. It's all you. ;)

Go start your thread again, don't put much of any content in it, see if it works...if it does, go back and edit your post to put in the content. If it doesn't, you've not wasted much effort.
