Chaz, I will get it down and do the remodel and try it ONLY if I get a chance to get the belly on and diffuser on. seems pointless otherwise. Thanks for that image.
My idea is a little different; I'll build a shell that overhangs the back edge about to the bumper, and make an optional tail that plugs in that will be about a foot longer than your depiction. It will be right at 4' aft of bumper. This one was a bit longer.

I'm out of luck there, Phil. I'd have to scrap my rear air suspension, rear hitch, and rear bumper to do that. It has a crank down but I'd have to crawl under to take off a section of diffuser.
I will tie the diffuser on the tail into that shallow angled long section of the diffuser mounting rails, not to the bottom edge of the bumper, Chaz and Phil. If I do that and maintain it, it will have that lovely 3~4 degree diffuser slope you mention all the way back.
