Thoughts on Fleet Vehicles

Been tossing ideas around for a taxi / livery vehicle.

I am open to ideas, but it has to be something that is unique, something that will be seperate from the herd.

I'd be willing to put something together, so don't limit yourself to age.

A London Taxi was a first thought until the purchase price scuppered that one, but something along that line would not be too far off.

Seeing how you are from Illinois - Blues Mobile

Cop motor 440 cubic inch flint
Cop Tires
Cop suspension
Cop shocks
Model made before catalytic converters so it runs good on regular gas.

An old Checker cab
Old UPS truck
Small old Limo
Weird little Suzuki Red Bull car (with can or it's just not cool)

Checker Marathons are cult classics and good ones are $$$$$$$$. Getting closer, though, the size is right.

Not that I know of. If I were so inclined to make one, I might start with a mercedes turbo diesel w/5 speed, and a stretch.

Let me make some caveats.

1. Has to be a fuel efficient vehicle.

2. Simple, easy to maintain.

3. Diesel or ethanol for fuel ( gonna make a still , got a source for waste oil )
