Time unfreezes on Havana roads

Well-preserved Yank tanks will start disappearing from the roads of Cuba. For the first time since 1959, Cubanos can buy new and used cars without government permission. This reform will allow freedom to trade, sell and buy newer cars, usually modern rental fleet cars. Diplomats and foreign residents could also bring in and sell any new or used motorcycles, cars, vans, small trucks and buses. They will resell them at three or four times the their price, and add 100% tax on top of that.

Those old cars are the best part about going to Cuba. Ok, the beaches and cheap beer is nice too.....
It's hilarious when a '57 Chevy rolls by with a diesel farm tractor engine under the hood. They do anything to keep them rolling.

Potential Cuban treasures for American collectors

Could set up a import/export shop, send a transport ship to Cuba, trade and bring back body parts and whole time machines. Definitely will bring a tear or two for American heavy metal collectors.

Idea; have a special Fast and Furious tribute trailer made in Cuba and show their love for their time machines.

After the Russian Lada and Gaz-Volga sedans and some rear-engined Polish-made Fiats which arrived in Cuba before the Soviet Union collapse, probably there will be some random Chinese econoboxes arriving there...

I think they should lift the restriction, but only for pre-1960 vehicles. That way everyone can get a car, but they don't end up with cheap boxes. It would also help keep the car culture alive and not change the landscape much.
