tip to find CFD images on google
i assume a lot of people here have googled for aero related images, especially CFD renderings, and i recently discovered an easier way of getting them...
Google recently introduced an advanced picture search tool on the google image search page wich allows you to scan for a certain type of image (such as line drawings...handy when looking for manuals and plans, but also faces for example) there's also a color selector wich allows you to scan the results based on their predominant color.
CFD images appear to be predominantly green, so googling something like "aerodynamics" and selecting the green image selector will reveil quite a number of CFD images...
There might be frogs and green cars also, but the frequency of CFD images is quite high.
these are usually quite interesting in their own right, but they often link to interesting articles wich might not have ranked so high doing the "aerodynamics" search the traditional way.
for what it's worth....
