Tire splats or deflectors

I am suddenly considering another aeromod now that I understand the significance of mudflaps and deflectors around the tires better. question: if I make splats or contoured deflectors with the black 4mm coroplast I have on hand, what specs should I consider? Height from ground? Curvature? Width? ...

i'm adding a air dam on my jeep (hopefully this weekend) and i'm trying to figure out the same thing. i'll be incorporating air deflectors on the side of the air dam to deflect the air past the front tires, but i'm curious about how to minimize the air hitting the front tires straight on even more, while still maintaining ground clearance. check out my album with drawings showing my planned design

You are considering doubling the coroplast width and a 45 degree angle around the tires... any specific reasons for those considerations? Any data? How thick is your coroplast? Mine on hand is 4mm, but I wish I had been able to get 2mm.

i have 4mm white coroplast (which i will spray paint black to make it less obvious), i'm doubling it up to minimize how much bracing i need to use to support it at speed. i'll start with a 45 degree angle, and then adjust it as required after doing some tuft tests
