I was looking at this thread last month. My car came with 165/70/13 OEM. Those are harder to source these days. Between the choice of 175/70/13 and 155/80/13 it would seem that the 155s would be more efficient. But there seems to be lots of discussion on this.

I remember when 145/80 R13 were quite common on European-designed small cars, which were prevalent in my country in the '90s, until 165/70 R13 started to become more common even on models which previously featured 145/80 R13 tire size. Now it's almost impossible to find any 13-inch other than 165/70 or 175/70 in Brazil.
