That's the problem with LRR tires. At best, we might see a 1% improvement in mileage, and we may have to give up safety to get it. The available information is spotty, and testing is questionable, at best. The best information was Consumer Reports, and their testing didn't correlate RR values with their 1-5 scale of worst to best.

Well, price and availability (mine, not the tires) ended up winning. I bought 4 Viva2 tires from Walmart today, despite the lack of info. Two notes however: my car is much, MUCH quieter than it was with the Kuhmo brand I had. And despite the lack of break-in, the trip home put me at the same mileage (according to the Scangauge). To be sure, I'll have to adjust the Scangauge to account for the difference in tire diameter.
