minispeed-Insight - '00 Honda Insight
90 day: 82.15 mpg (US)

MDX - '01 Acura MDX Touring
90 day: 22.29 mpg (US)

the wife's car - '13 Toyota Prius Plus
90 day: 45.99 mpg (US)

leaf-one - '15 Nissan Leaf SV

Here's some pics of the new tires and rims, pre and post lowering. So far I'm getting just about the same fuel economy as the last tires did, have about 1000km on them so far.

Older tyres have better RR than new ones.
So the tyres you got seems to have compensated for the heavier, wider rims -even when new.

The old tires only went about 2500km, and the best fill up was their last fill up with about a 3mpg difference, I'm pretty confident that the new tires will be able to beat that when the conditions allow. We are in the middle of a record 30-37 Celcious heat wave and a few days I've seen 60C intake temp with over 70 one day. My ignition advance has taken a huge hit and my AC is being used a lot.
