Torque App MPG - 2001 Dodge Diesel

I got a bluetooth OBD2 adapter awhile back and messed around with it on the free version of the app. I mainly got it for the MPG feature and I needed the Pro version for that so I got it. Well I just don't why it won't work on my truck. I should of kept my ScanGauge because of the I wanna say accurate MPG reading. Does anyone with a diesel have trouble making the MPG gauge work?

Unhappy

Oh Lord. Stupidest thing I ever did in my life was sell my 98 Dodge Ram w/Cummins Turbo-Diesel. It was truly the real deal Holy Grail of Cummins equipped Rams.

I digress...

It cranked out around 425HP with almost a 1,000LBs of Raw Torque AND got (20) MPG Highway all day long.
