Whats so bad about plugging it in?
At least with a cordwhen it quits working you can replace it. To replace this thing it looks a little more involved.

Sorry, no garage.
I think the newer nexus phones and tablets use the wireless charging technology. That should be further explored before going full scale with vehicles.

Yeah so it turns out plugging in a j1772 isn't really that big a deal and it looks like over half of EV owners who charge at home only use the 120v evse that came with the car.
And see paying a few hundred dollars to get a level 2 charger and the supporting electrical installed for it as a big deal.
