tracking my best milege so far!!

my best mileage was 498.2 miles....today hit 225 at the first quarter mark....hoping to pull close to 400 miles out of a half a tank....definitely hit over 300miles...which pushes me well beyond my best mileage and will push me deep into the 50+MPG range(my goal is to hit 50 with an attempt to hit 60mpg...hit 48.2mpg so far.....)

Very nice! My goal is also to reach 60mpg...during the summer I usually manage average 55-57mpg. My last tank was 57.54mpg

i am seriously thinking about trying to find a metro....as i actually have other plans for this car ...and fuel economy is not in its future.....lol
but want/need to find another vehicle to use as my DD/hypermiler...and the metro seems to be the best choice by far!

well its official hit 378.3 miles on a half tank of gas!! and people always pick on the lil GA16DE ....lol

and I drive as some would call "blind" ...i have no extra instrumentations and dont even have a working tach(it was shorted out by previous owner)!!
I achieved this by refining "the nut behind the wheel", and coasting hills when ever i get a chance.....engine stays on all the time....just drive by feel!

gonna stop and top her off tomorrow on my way to work to see just what kinda gas mileage this adds up to be! cant wait to see!
