With 6 days to go, he has collected $1 of the $45,000 that he hopes to collect in order to complete his R&D. Apparently, most people aren't as gullible as he thinks we are. I'm not willing to contribute to the next $44,999.00 that he needs to complete his research. Color me skeptical.

This reminds me--whatever happened to that Spitfire or Skipfire (whatever the hell it was) guy who claimed he got nearly 100mpg out of an 80s Topaz and totally didn't fabricate fuel log data, ever?

Skip Fire. That was Doug Pelmear. He hasn't logged a fill in that Topaz nor in his 120 MPG Mustang since last October.
He was banned from ecomodder.com once, but he re-registered under a different user name.
