Tuberculosis and Leprosy

I am required to take two classes from a weird list of required "electives," with at least one being upper-division. ASB 100, Introduction to Global Health and GCU 364, Energy in the Global Arena seemed to fit my schedule best, and now I only ride my bike five blocks to school two days a week.

Strangely, Health is taking up way more time than Energy. This week, I had several articles to read, six Adobe Presenter presentations to endure, and two long videos to watch, before taking a quiz, and doing a homework assignment worth as much as the final. When I looked at everything that I needed to do for this class and Statistics, I promised to stay away from these forums, ignore girls, and other emergency procedures. However, I kept procrastinating taking the quiz, and I realized that I had test anxiety, which is strange for me, but I am really worried about starting out well.

So, I ran across a question that frustrated me:

Quote:
Dr. Stone's research hypothesized a connection between 2007's sustained incidence of Tuberculosis/ leprosy and what phenomenon: (Points : 5)
• increased global urbanization
• antibiotic resistance
• human-primate contact
• all of the above
This was open-book, although that was an Adobe Presentation, so I could not use a search function or my ludicrous-speed reading, where I sometimes mistake "Neanderthal" and "Netherlands." It seems like each of those points was a potential contributor, but Dr. Stone only referred to Dancing with the Simians.

Of course, I already submitted the quiz, I just do not know whether or not I guessed correctly.

I'd think it was antibiotic resistance, as that's causing TB, Staph and Gonorrhea to become pretty much invincible lately.

Well, it referred to one of the three presentations by the same doctor that we needed to endure, and of the above topics, she only referred to human-simian interactions.

immigration ...

TBC and Leprosy were long routed out over here, to the point that doctors hardly recognise the symptoms, but both have been re-imported in recent years.
