Stupendous , did you use high gear low rpm driving and neutral coasting to get it ?

Good Job , though your pushing the envelope

Lots of engine-off coasting. And yes, very low RPM. I upshift at 2000-2200 RPM. I'm usually cruising at 1500 RPM in 4th gear. Which is about 40 MPH. Not using 5th gear much these days. It's too tall! I need to be going at least 45 MPH to use 5th gear on flat ground. Great on the highway though! Also very little braking or idling.

I had that same exact car about ten years ago, same color, minus the rust, and an automatic versus stick, and I barely broke 30 mpg.
Looks like you've done a lot to it on your page. Out of all the stuff you did, what brought you the most gains?

Congrats! No telling what you'll be able to get in the Metro!

That is cuh-RAZY great mileage. You're tootling around at modest speed and ultra-low revs, that's how it's possible.

That little engine/big space paradigm makes the Civic Wagovan one of my all-time favorite cars, I've always loved those. Although I think I would probably prefer the AT4WD model, and have to give up the great mileage as a direct result.

Nice, nice work.

Very nice work!

Fun! More congrats here.

Wagovan was like the pre-Fit, minus the fancy back seat.

Great work!

Wow.

I'd love to put a HF trans into a Wagovan, talk about the best of both worlds...
It'd make a awesome vehicle to see the country in.

:)

And of course put in some 2G Prelude seats.

Keep it up,very impressive!
